This opal glitter gives a soft, shifting glow that changes with the light. It mixes smoothly into resin, and cures with that luminous, almost ethereal sheen opal is famous for. Sinks a bit more than the holo colours, but still suspends beautifully. Pour towards the end of the pot life to achieve ultimate suspension.
The fine cut means it works beautifully in detailed moulds, but it still catches the light enough to lift larger pours. Use it on its own for a clean opal finish or mix it with micas when you want depth, texture, and a bit of colour play. Brilliant for dry brushing on a dark backfill too. The colours really snap into focus.
